In the north of the Metro Manila, Philippine there is a cemetery, the biggest one. While walking inside the cemetery, you may hear some noises. Maybe you can hear someone singing, talking or the sound of kids plays. These sounds are not coming from the ghosts, but the living people.
There are more than 6000 families living inside the cemetery. These people are the poorest of the poor. People who don’t have a place to live. In the middle of 90s, these people migrated in the capital looking for jobs. But they had nothing and ended up living in the cemetery, but couldn’t earn enough money for living a decent life outside. These people live here, cook, eat and grow their family. Most of them don’t have works. Some of them do odds jobs for living like selling flowers to the visitors, making headstone, build coffins and clean tombs. Many of them already got involve with drugs as they couldn’t find any work for living!
The government want them to go out of the cemetery. They also want to leave the place, but these people have nowhere else to go. Living with the dead for a while now left them afraid of the outside world.
